The bar area glows with backlit bottles and hanging pendant lights, while the dining room is dotted with contemporary fixtures that feel both stylish and welcoming. On this particular evening, however, we opted to sit outside—thanks to the beautiful weather—and it made for the perfect backdrop to enjoy an outstanding meal.

Starters

Takoyaki balls on a white plate topped with seaweed and sauce. Set on a textured gray surface, vibrant and appetizing presentation.

Takoyaki – These octopus fritters were golden, crisp on the outside, and melt-in-your-mouth tender on the inside. The bonito flakes danced on top as the heat rose, while the drizzle of mayo and tonkatsu sauce brought a creamy, tangy, slightly sweet punch. The nori added a touch of umami that tied it all together—absolutely addictive and a must-try starter.

Miso Soup – A classic done right. The broth was warm, savory, and deeply comforting, with perfectly soft cubes of tofu and fresh scallions floating on top. Simple yet satisfying, it felt like the perfect beginning before diving into the main dishes.

Entrées

Spicy Salmon Donburi – This dish was a standout. The salmon, prepared tartare-style, was silky and fresh, marinated in a sesame-soy blend that balanced salty and nutty notes. Paired with crisp cucumber, scallions, sesame seeds, daikon, and a pop of masago, every bite had layers of texture and flavor. It was refreshing yet bold, and the nori tied in that hint of the ocean beautifully.

Pink Lady Roll – A feast for both the eyes and the palate. Tuna, hamachi, salmon, and avocado were elegantly wrapped in soy paper, giving it a delicate presentation. The jalapeño vinaigrette added a bright kick of spice, while the masago gave little bursts of brininess. The micro cilantro on top was the perfect finishing touch—fresh, vibrant, and unexpected.

Spicy Salmon Roll – True to its name, this roll brought just the right amount of heat. The salmon was rich and fresh, with a subtle spice that never overpowered. Balanced with perfectly seasoned rice and nori, it was a classic sushi roll elevated by quality and care in preparation.
